I'm dazed, I've been blind sided, plowed over, dumb-struck.
My voice shakes as I explain what happened to tech support at Apple and Drive Savers. How it just crashed. And a hole eats at my stomach as I think about what could be lost.
But I have faith.
These miracle technicians will reach into the broken machine and save my images. My past, my art, my memories.
Please. Please.
So now I wait.

Jesus dude, reading shit like this makes me keep ordering these god damn expensive hard drives like I'm a coke fiend or something... best of luck, John. I've lost a lot of shit computer-wise in the past and it's just no fun.
Speaking of which, another 1tb drive just arrived at my door this morning...
Mailed the broken bloke out to Cali this afternoon. Definitely learning my lesson about backing everything up, ad nausea.
